East and West Regions named to Newsweek’s “America’s Greatest Workplaces 2024”
Both regions of BJC Health System named among Newsweek’s second-annual “America’s Greatest Workplaces.”
These results were based on input from more than 250,000 U.S. employees, leading to 1.5 million company reviews in 78 individual sectors. The survey covered topics like compensation and benefits, training and career progression, work-life balance, and company culture.
BJC HealthCare and Saint Luke’s completed the transaction to combine as a single, integrated health system at the beginning of the year, advancing our collective position as a patient-focused industry leader in care delivery and a vision of being the region’s most exceptional place to work.
“This is such an exciting time for us at BJC Health System, as we work together to build out the Midwest’s premier destination to practice medicine and receive care,” says Rich Liekweg, CEO of BJC Health System. “We’re 44,000 strong, and we’re showing up for our patients and our communities in the ways they need us most.”
BJC Health System is additionally committed to investing in our employees with award-winning development programs, competitive benefits packages and a commitment to work-life balance.
“The strength and immense talent of our employees play a vital part in our national reputation for excellence,” says Jackie Tischler, chief people officer at BJC Health System. “As our 44,000 team members contribute to caring for our communities, we’re committed to providing opportunities, resources, and a culture in which each feels valued, supported, and equipped to bring their best—and be their best—every day. This recognition highlights the importance of this ongoing work.”
