Executive Vice President, Chief Information and Digital OfficerBJC Health System
Jerry is responsible for information technology, information security operations, biomedical engineering technology and digital initiatives for BJC Health System’s hospitals, clinics, service organizations and programs. BJC Health System is comprised of two distinct regions – the East Region, which serves the St. Louis area and southern Illinois, and operates as BJC HealthCare; and the West Region, which serves the Kansas City area and eastern Kansas, and operates as Saint Luke’s Health System.
Jerry formerly served as chief information and digital officer for BJC HealthCare. Before joining BJC, Jerry was global chief information officer of Rockwell Automation, responsible for information technology strategy and operations. Prior to Rockwell, he was chief technology officer and director of global information technology operations at Dana Corporation.
Jerry holds a master’s degree in business administration and a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in management information systems from Ohio University. He is active with the IT Senior Management Forum focused on expanding the pipeline of diverse IT talent and serves as a board member for College Bound St. Louis. In 2021 he received the ORBIE Award for CIO of the Year in health care. Jerry has also been named one of 50 innovative chief digital officers to know by Becker’s Hospital Review.
