Jackie Tischler

Jackie provides strategic and operational leadership in the development and delivery of human resources initiatives across BJC Health System, which is comprised of a West Region that serves the Kansas City area and eastern Kansas and operates as Saint Luke’s Health System, and an East Region that serves the St. Louis area and southern Illinois and operates as BJC HealthCare. As chief people officer, she helps create a diverse and inclusive environment supportive of BJC’s mission. Additionally, she is liaison to the Compensation Committee of the BJC Health System Board of Directors.

Before joining BJC HealthCare as senior vice president and chief people officer in 2020, Jackie served as senior vice president, human resource operations at Baylor Scott and White Health, the largest fully-integrated health care system in Texas. There, she was responsible for compensation, talent acquisition, benefits, HR technology, HR service center and employee health.

Previously, Jackie was vice president of human resources at University of Colorado Health. Additionally, she held senior HR and leadership positions at Methodist Health System.

Jackie holds a master’s degree in health care administration from Trinity University in San Antonio and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Oklahoma State University.
