Deborah Graves
President, Memorial HospitalDeborah Graves serves as president of Memorial Hospital Belleville | Shiloh in Illinois. Memorial Hospital is part of BJC Health System’s East Region, serving the St. Louis area and Southern Illinois.
Deborah joined BJC Health System in 2024 with more than 20 years of experience, most recently as President of SSM St. Joseph Hospital - Lake Saint Louis, where she provided executive leadership for a level III Trauma/level II STEMI regional medical center.
Previously, Deborah spent six years at LifeBridge Health in Baltimore, where she had served as SVP of LifeBridge Health and president of Levindale Hospital since 2017. She began her career as an emergency department nurse in New Orleans, followed by roles of increasing scope and responsibility across the health care spectrum, including as chief executive officer for several years at Regency Hospital in Minneapolis.
Deborah earned her bachelor’s degrees in sociology and nursing from Louisiana State University and a master’s in business administration in management from the University of New Orleans. She is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and American Organization of Nurse Executives, and serves as a volunteer for Crossroads Clinic/Volunteers in Medicine.
