As chief financial officer for BJC Health System, Chuck Robb oversees all finance-related functions across both Eastern and Western regions, including finance, supply chain, treasury, revenue cycle, and managed care. BJC Health System is comprised of two distinct regions – the Eastern Region, which serves the St. Louis area and southern Illinois and operates as BJC HealthCare; and the Western Region, which serves the Kansas City area, northwest Missouri, and eastern Kansas, and operates as Saint Luke’s Health System.
Formerly senior vice president and chief financial officer for Saint Luke’s Health System, Chuck has served a variety of roles since joining Sant Luke’s in 1991, including CFO of Saint Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City and Saint Luke’s Health System CFO.
Prior to joining Saint Luke’s, Chuck worked for Ernst & Young. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and is a certified public accountant.
Chuck is a member of numerous professional organizations and has served in board positions including the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Missouri Society of CPAs, and the Health Financial Management Association. He also served as Board Chair of the Metropolitan Ambulance Service Trust, the University of Missouri-Kansas City Accounting Advisory Board, John Knox Village, and Vizient Mid-America.
Chuck’s professional honors include being named among the Kansas City Business Journal’s CFOs of the Year for 2021.
