A primary care doctor, also called a primary care provider (PCP), cares for your health throughout your lifetime. Your primary care provider can be a physician or advanced practice provider (APP). An APP is a nurse practitioner or physician assistant who has completed additional training in primary care. Our team includes physicians and APPs in family medicine, internal medicine and geriatrics.
Family medicine
Family medicine doctors and APPs specialize in preventive care and treatment for every member of the family, at any age. You don’t need to have a spouse or children to benefit from a family doctor. From annual physicals to treating illnesses, our family medicine doctors are here for you throughout your life. They also help coordinate your care and refer you to specialists when needed.
Internal medicine
Also called internists, internal medicine providers focus on healthcare for people ages 18 and up. Internists are uniquely equipped to diagnose, manage and treat illnesses and chronic conditions in adults. They provide preventive care, annual wellness visits, sick visits and specialist referrals.
Geriatrics
Geriatric providers, or geriatricians, specialize in the unique health needs of adults ages 65 and up. If you’re an older adult with complex health needs, a geriatrics doctor can be your primary care provider. Many of our family doctors and internal medicine physicians are also experienced in providing geriatric medicine.
Sometimes you need immediate, quality care and can’t see your regular primary care provider. Even if it’s an evening or weekend, we’re here for you. Our virtual care (telehealth) service connects you with a dedicated virtual care provider who can evaluate and diagnose your condition and prescribe treatment.
